Chronic pain is often defined as any pain lasting more than 12 weeks. Whereas acute pain is a normal sensation that alerts us to possible injury, chronic pain is very different. Chronic pain persists—often for months or even longer
THE PROBLEM
Pain can have a great impact on your every day life. A chronic persistent pain can make life almost unbearable. This is usually caused by an old injury which should have healed, but has caused the brain to send habitual persistent repeated messages to brace muscles which is in fact what is causing the pain.
THE SYMPTOMS
- bad sleeping patterns
-
low mood
-
lethargy
-
appetite issues (too much or too little)
-
lack of mobility
-
not being able to work
-
ineffectual pain killers
-
irritability
THE SOLUTION
At the end of your initial consultation I will give you an MP3 download which will start to help you to sleep at night. The during the working sessions we will tackle your stress levels by getting you to completely relax and let go of negative feelings and thoughts. Over a period of time this will start to change the way your brain responds to messages of chronic pain and the pain gate will start to close.
Imagine waking up tomorrow pain free!
After a good nights sleep!
